Dr. William Kusek is Eyecare Professional’s Low Vision Rehabilitation Professional for visually impaired patients. Dr. Kusek completed his residency program at the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System in Tucson, where he focused on low vision rehabilitation and treating of ocular diseases. Dr. Kusek works one on one with his patients, performing evaluations and management for individuals with vision deficiencies that may be caused by Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma, Cataracts, Stroke, Retinitis Pigmentosa, and even an Eye Injury. These types of impairment conditions are not usually correctable with standard eyeglasses, contact lenses or surgical means, so after a series of specialized tests and a complete analysis, Dr. Kusek makes visual aid recommendations based on his patient’s lifestyle needs, in addition to assisting them to reach their visual goals and improve their quality of life.
